Dear Sir od Madam,

FEM software like RFEM significantly simplifies plate buckling analysis of shells. In our technical article, we show the design process with the MNA/LBA concept.

Furthermore, we present three interesting customer projects in this newsletter. For example the Wildlife Crossing AM2 in Carinthia which has been built with the newly developed method Pneumatic Forming of Hardened Concrete (PFHC).

Plate Buckling Analysis of Steel Shell Structures Using MNA/LBA Concept

Beulsicherheitsnachweise stählerner Schalentragwerke mit Hilfe des MNA/LBA-Konzeptes

Shell buckling is considered to be the most recent and least explored stability issue of structural engineering.
This is less due to a lack of research activities, but rather due to the complexity of the theory.
